Who we are
CharityCDs is a scheme that has been established principally to help charities and voluntary organisations to fundraise for their own causes. It began life as a fundraising project for a charity that was looking for new ways to involve its members in helping to fund its ongoing work.
After many months of trial and error the basic premise of the scheme was moulded into a workable model that could be applied in a variety of settings. This led to the scheme being advocated to a number of similar charities in several different countries.
Today the CharityCDs scheme has been expanded beyond its initial application so that it can now be made available to a wider range of charities and voluntary groups.
Expertise
CharityCDs is based on over a decades worth of practical fundraising experience. Its staff have worked previously in a diverse range of fundraising environments, such as corporate fundraising for the United Nations as well as more grass roots fundraising for local charities in the UK. They have also advised on fundraising projects in Canada and the United States.
CharityCDs are familiar with the common difficulties that face fundraising in the voluntary sector and have pioneered this scheme to help alleviate some of those difficulties. We are committed not just to helping you implement the scheme, but also to maintaining it as an ongoing project.
Previous success
The CharityCDs scheme has already proven its success in raising funds for many charities and voluntary groups that differ in size and outlook. We have worked with schools, religous charities, charities that specialise in work for vulnerable groups, as well as working with businesses to help raise funds for their local nominated charities.
