Voluntary groups
If you represent a voluntary or community group the CharityCDs scheme is open to your group. Over time we have had many enquiries from groups which are in the process of becomming registered charities, or are simply too snowed under with work to complete the process.
Although this scheme began to help registered charities it seemed ideal to extend it to include smaller organisations and groups that are non profit groups.
We have taken care of devising the project, it is tried and tested already, we provide publicity materials and ongoing support for any questions you have along the way.
Overcoming obstacles
There is over 10 years experience of charity fundraising that lies behind the CharityCDs project. We have worked for all sizes of organisations, from the United Nations down to small local charities. Whatever the size of the group, the problems facing trustees and directors are mostly the same - how to increase income to fund its work.
CharityCDs is here to help overcome that obstacle and provide your organisation with a fully functional system that can be put in place by your own volunteers with the minimum of planning and cost, thereby helping you to concentrate on your main aims of helping others.
What do you get?
After joining the scheme you will receive an information and startup pack. This comprises of guidance notes on how best to implement the scheme, a fundraising helpsheet, details of our email support address, and some posters to help you publicise the scheme. Then its as simple as telling people about the scheme, collecting in the CDs and DVDs and posting them off to us.
All of the promotional material we send you, such as the posters and fundraising helpsheet do not carry our logo or details. We have designed these in such a way so that you can add your own details to the materials to personalise them. We also offer a poster you can download as a PDF - this can then be printed or altered as you wish in your own offices.
We offer you a complete fundraising project for your organisation for free. All that we ask is that you agree to send the CDs and DVDs you collect to us for recycling. In return we then give your organisation 50p for each CD and DVD that is compatible with our recycling process.
